Toilet Overflow Faults
Overflow problems are generally attributed to a defective filling valve. Older toilets overflow outside and if left can cause other related problems. For older toilets without an internal overflow both the float valve and flush mechanism should be replaced.
Modern toilets have a mechanism to enable the toilet overflow internally ie: into the pan. A modern toilet usually has an internal overflow fitted requiring only the valve to be replaced. Old toilets: £60 New toilets: £50 |
